As a new depression zone has formed over the State of Odisha over the Bay of Bengal, the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for rain for 6 days in Tamil Nadu.
In a notification released in this regard by the Director of the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre. Pa. Senthamaraikkannan, it is mentioned:
“A new depression zone formed yesterday (Thursday, 20th July) over the northwest Bay of Bengal and its adjacent coastal areas of Odisha State. Further, the phenomenon of changing speeds of the westerly winds blowing toward Tamil Nadu persists.
Due to the above developments, there are prospects for mild to medium rain with lightning and thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu State and Pudhuchery.
There are prospects for mild to medium rain in 1 or 2 places on the 22nd, 23rd, & 26th of July. There are prospects for soft to medium rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Pudhuchery on the 24th & the 25th of July.
The maximum temperature will be 97 Degrees Fahrenheit and the minimum temperature will be 82 Degrees Fahrenheit.
