In many dishes, sweet neem or curry leaves are added and this would make the dishes very tasty. Curry leaves are known as karuveppilai in Tamil. It is amazing to note that the proof regarding the use of curry leaves in dishes has been present in Tamil literature also. There are many health benefits of chewing curry leaves in the morning. 

The health benefits are

Good for digestion:

The curry eaves are rich in fibre content is known to us. The fibres would help in good digestion. We would not get issues like constipation etc as the fibres would help in the bowel movements.

 Improves hair quality:

It is learnt that the presence of antioxidants and beta carotene etc in the curry leaves would thicken and repair damaged hair plus delay the white or grey hairs in us. Hair growth would be promoted.

Lowers blood sugar levels:

 Many people have diabetes or high blood sugar levels in them and this could be due to many reasons. By chewing curry leaves in the morning blood sugar levels would be lowered and diabetes would be managed. Insulin sensitivity would be increased.
