One of the very difficult diseases that can occur in  us is piles or haemorrhoids. Those persons with piles might not feel comfortable to talk about their issue even with doctors or family members etc. 
 
The person with piles issues would have vascular structures in their anal canal. It is worthy to mention that in the normal condition they act as cushions and help in control of stools but when swollen or inflamed they become a disease. In a few days, small haemorrhoids might clear up but large haemorrhoids might take a longer duration to clear up. Mostly, persons above the age of 50 might have more chances of getting piles issue. If a person is overweight, then the person has more chances to get piles.
 
Persons with piles would show symptoms like blood in the stools, anal itching, feeling of passing stools even after going to the toilet, lump around anus, pain around anus etc.
 
Reason or cause for piles issue in us:
The major cause for piles is due to the straining while passing stools that could be due to severe constipation etc. A person can face stomach based issues if he or she has wrong eating habits etc. This can lead to severe constipation in them. Bitter fact is that if this constipation is not treated on time then there are chances that it might turn into piles
 
As we grow older, our anal canal would get weakened and due to this we could get piles issues.
 
Types of piles:
There are 2 types of piles like bloody piles and internal piles. In the former, there would be no pain in the bloody piles but in the latter there would be bleeding while passing stools. Point to be noted is that constipation would occur and the stomach would get upset.
 
Foods to eat for piles:
There are few foods that a patient must eat and these foods are fruits like apples, pears,  barley, lentils, corn etc.
 
Prevention:
Preventing piles is very important. This can be done by consuming food with lots of fibres, by increasing the amount of water, by eating light and easily digestible foods etc. Those with piles issues must stay away from consuming processed foods etc. It is believed that sleeping well and being stress free would also help a person avoid getting this piles problem.
