The childrens are fussy eaters is a well known fact to us. It is true that parents would find it very difficult to feed their kids. Winter climate could be nice but it would also bring many health issues to the children. Therefore, it is the duty of the parents to provide foods that would provide their kids (who are fussy eaters) with high immunity. To increase the immunity, intake of super foods would be fantastic.

Important superfoods that parents must give their children without fail during the winter season are

Sweet potatoes:
It is noteworthy that sweet potatoes would improve the immunity of the kid. This could be due to the presence of vitamins, fibres etc.
Jaggery:
Jaggery contains proteins, choline, betaine, vitamin B6, B12, folate etc. Especially in the winters, intake of jaggery would be tremendous for the kids. Truth is that when compared to sugars, jaggery would be superb and healthier.

Amla:
Also called as gooseberries, amla have lots of antioxidants in them. Parents must give their kids amla and by consuming amla kids would not get issues like flu, cold etc.

Citrus fruits:
It is known that intake of vitamin C would help in improving the immunity in us. Examples of citrus fruits are lemons, oranges, grapefruits etc.

Dates:
There are phytonutrients present in the dates and these would provide the children with numerous health benefits. By intake of dates, there would be hormone regulation, inflammation reduction etc.

Beetroot:
The presence of fibres in beetroot would improve digestive health. Immunity would become better.

Turnip:
The body of the kids would fight against the invasion of external infections due to the presence of vitamin Ca and ascorbic acids present in the turnips.

Eggs:
Parents must provide their kids with eggs during the winter season. It is a known fact that eggs are rich in proteins and this would increase the immunity in the kids.

Nuts:
Kids would be able to feel energetic and warm in the winters by eating nuts. Therefore, parents must try to provide their kids with lots of nuts like cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios etc. Metabolism would be improved in the kids with the intake of nuts etc..

Soups:
The kids would be able to feel warm when they eat soups. Their digestive health would become better with the intake of soups. Consuming soups would make the kids less prone to winter illness etc due to their improved immunity.
