We might have come across persons with asthma conditions having difficulty in breathing etc. A chronic respiratory condition in which there is inflammation and narrowing of the airways is asthma. Allergens plus others like irritants, respiratory infections etc could lead to asthma in us.

It is noteworthy that by consuming anti-inflammatory foods those with asthma would be able to manage the symptoms of asthma plus reduce the severity of asthma attacks etc.

There are certain anti-inflammatory foods that would make asthma management easier

Consuming garlic:
Asthma symptoms would get reduced and lung function would get improved by eating garlic. This is an important anti-inflammatory food.

Consuming fatty fishes:
It must be noted that fatty fishes are rich in omega 3 fatty acids with anti-inflammatory properties and intake of these fishes would lower asthma symptoms.

Consuming turmeric:
Cucurmin is present in turmeric and it has anti-inflammatory properties. This food would be highly beneficial for asthma sufferers.

Consuming ginger:
Airway inflammation would be reduced and asthma would be improved when persons with asthma condition consume ginger having anti-inflammatory properties.

Consuming leafy green vegetables:
There are antioxidants and vitamins present in leafy green vegetables and these would help the asthma patients to manage their issue well.

Consuming berries:
It must be noted that blueberries have many antioxidants in them and intake of blueberries would protect against airway inflammation. These fruits could be consumed fresh or added to oatmeal or yoghurt etc or by adding them to smoothies etc.

Consuming green tea:
Managing asthma symptoms would be easy by drinking green tea that is rich in compounds having anti-inflammatory properties.  It is good to drink green tea hot or cold.

Consuming walnuts:
The asthma patients must eat walnuts having anti-inflammatory propertrties. The presence of omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants could lower inflammation.
