“Due to the phenomenon of the changing speeds of the westerly winds blowing towards Tamil Nadu, there are prospects for mild to medium rains with lightning and thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu, Pudhuchery and Karaikkal today (Monday, the 21st of August).
There are prospects for heavy rain in 1 or 2 places in Nilgiri, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagappattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Ariyalur, and Cuddalore Districts.
There are prospects for widespread mild to medium rain with lightning and thunder tomorrow (Tuesday, 22nd August) in Tamil Nadu, Pudhuchery and Karaikkal.
There are prospects for heavy rain in 1 or 2 places in Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Sivagangai, Pudhukkottai, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagappattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Cuddalore, Kallakkurichi, and Trichy Districts.
There are prospects for mild to medium rain in 1 or 2 places from the 23rd of August until the 26th of August in Tamil Nadu, Pudhuchery and Karaikkal.
As regards the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs, the sky will remain somewhat cloudy in the next 48 hours. There are prospects for mild to medium rain with lightning and thunder in a few places in the city.
