16,888 special buses run in Tamil Nadu ahead of Diwali festival

To facilitate the public to celebrate the festival of lights or deepavali on 24th October in their native places with their families and friends, the state transport corporations would be operating a total of 16888 buses from Chennai and other districts etc in Tamil Nadu.
