By avoiding soft drinks:
It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that their kids do not drink soft drinks from an early age.
By providing protein rich snacks:
Parents must make sure that they have protein rich snacks available at the homes for their kids to eat them. Various examples are kebab, sprout salad, chana chaat etc.
By making kids drink vegetable juices:
It is noteworthy that parents must make their kids drink vegetable based juices from an early age. Vegetable juices have lots of antioxidants needed for the body of the kids. Kids could consume soups, salads or cooked vegetables etc.
By not denying any food item:
When a particular food is denied to them, then the kids would develop a special liking towards it. Therefore, parents must never deny any food. Point is that parents must also not give or reward chocolates etc to their kids if their kids do something extraordinary.
By helping kids deal with stress:
When the kids feel stressed, they try to grab the food as per their choice. This stress eating is dangerous. In such a scenario, parents must help their kids to deal with the stress. Kids must be given proper counselling in this aspect. Parents could teach their kids about yoga, meditation plus other methods etc to overcome stress.
